What is a Virtual Assistant anyways?
A virtual assistant is an independent contractor (i.e. a business owner and NOT an employee). We help businesses in a multitude of different areas but most of us specialize in just a few different tasks. We help in ways that are similar to an employee but you don’t have to worry about taxes, benefits, etc. We do dictate the hours that we work and the price that we work for but most of us are willing to work with you to create a package that works best for you.
How does it work?
First, we book a discovery call to help get to know one another a little bit. This helps us get a feel for each other and to see if we would be a good fit. We assess your needs and if it all works out, we sign a contract, you pay your invoice and we’re off to the races!
Do I need all of my crap together before we get started?
In a perfect world this may be the case, but this is real life. While it’s helpful to know what you need help with, don’t worry if you don’t have it all together! I can help you get organized and assess what really needs attention so we can get you back on track in no time!
Do I have an obligation if it’s just not working out?
I offer a two-week trial to all of my clients at the beginning. While we do sign a contract and I require payment up front, two weeks gives us a pretty good indication as to whether we’re a good fit or not. No worries if it doesn’t work out, neither of us wants to waste the other’s time.
